New Obama rule changes at the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will no long require naturalized citizens to pledge as part of their Oath of Allegiance that when required by law they will "bear arms on behalf of the United States" or even "perform noncombatant service" in the Armed Forces.

USCIS says some people "may" be offended and "may" be able to exclude those phrases if their objection is related to religion or a "deeply held moral or ethical code."

This is the kind of threat to America's future of freedom our Founders meant when Benjamin Franklin said they had instituted to the People, "a republic – if you can keep it…"

Under Barack Obama's orders, the United States Army will reduce its force to 450,000 soldiers by October 2017. The news that 40,000 more soldiers will be prematurely pink-slipped comes as this administration announced its "deal" with "world powers" to enrich and empower Iran to obtain a nuclear weapon – so long as it doesn't officially develop and drop a bomb in the next fifteen years.

Heaven forbid ANYTHING that actually PROTECTS AND DEFENDS AMERICA be allowed to impinge upon the globalist foreign policy of OBAMA'S "LEGACY."

The United States confronts an increasing hostile and violent world.

In a contemptible interview with CNN's "State of the Union," Defense Secretary Ashton Carter blamed the current fall of Ramadi to barbaric Islamic State terrorists ENTIRELY upon the Iraqi people lacking the "will to fight."

"What apparently happened was that the Iraqi forces just showed no will to fight," Obama's Defense Secretary said. "They were not outnumbered; in fact, they vastly outnumbered the opposing force. And yet they failed to fight, they withdrew from the site, and that says to me, and I think to most of us, that we have an issue with the will of the Iraqis to fight ISIL and defend themselves."

When asked about criticism concerning Obama's Iraq strategy to deal with the Islamic State, Ashton responded, "If there comes a time when we need to change the kinds of support we're giving to the Iraqi forces, we'll make that recommendation… "But what happened in Ramadi was a failure of the Iraqi forces to fight."

The Battle of Ramadi fought April to November 2006 was a milestone for our military during the Iraq War as combined contingents of U.S. soldiers, Marines, Navy SEALs and Iraqi security forces fought insurgents for control of the Anbar province.

During these operations, U.S. military officers assess that the exemplary performance of U.S. troops compared to the brutality of terrorist insurgents led to the Anbar Awakening, where Sunni sheiks of some 30 tribes banded together and cooperated with U.S. and coalition forces to FIGHT Al-Qaeda militants. At the time, Ramadi was the declared capital of the Islamic State of Iraq (a front for Al-Qaeda in Iraq) during the Iraq War.

At least 75 American soldiers and Marines were killed by mid-November in the fight for Ramadi, in addition to an unknown number of Iraqi soldiers and police fighting with us. Throughout the course of the war, hundreds of U.S. servicemembers were killed and injured in Anbar Province.

Just nine years later, this despicable Obama administration falsely claims ISIS regaining Anbar's blood-earned territory is entirely to blame on the Iraqis – LYING that they lack the will to fight so a corrupt administration can wash Obama's hands of squandering OUR heroes' battle against barbarism paid in blood. What will be left of our troops will be little more than a domestic police state, with martial law enforcement capability ready for deployment in highly efficient fashion.

They've spent $96 million of your taxpayer dollars to build a 300-acre "fake city" in Virginia complete with a sports stadium, bank, school and an UNDERGROUND SUBWAY for training in future unspecified combat scenarios. And it comes after a leaked academic study postulating the future use of the military as a peacekeeping force within the U.S. – specifically, a force to restore order to a town seized by Tea Party "insurrectionists"!

That study coincided with the leak of a U.S. Army manual detailing plans for "Civil Disturbance Operations" in which U.S. military troops are used as domestic police powers to quell riots, confiscate firearms and even kill Americans on U.S. soil.

It went so far as to include plans for "temporary" internment camps complete with internee "re-education" for the development of an "appreciation of U.S. policies."

Then there is the whole alarming gray area of Obama's "martial law" Executive Order No. 13603 – National Defense Resources Preparedness Executive Order – whereby the Executive Branch is given carte blanche authority – with NO CHECKS AND BALANCES and NO TRANSPARENCY, and so unrestricted in its scope it has been characterized as "Soviet-like" and "totalitarian" in nature by analysts!

The EO comes complete with a broader, more vague definition of "national emergency" than has ever been used previously by the federal government – and all Emperor Obama would have to do is declare said undefined "national emergency" and the government would take complete control over our lives – seizing all industry, all transport, all agriculture, all usable water, all health resources.

FORCED LABOR is even part of this totalitarian EO package, simply if deemed a "need" by Banana Republic Obama.

All these actions are a GROSS violation of the Constitution's careful separation and balance of powers. Obama CANNOT be trusted with such latitude, and his EOs combined with his purging of our military's officer corps signal a disturbing pattern. We cannot allow Obama to render a compliant military cadre loyal only to him. The danger is real. Since Barack Hussein Obama first occupied the White House, high ranking military officers have been removed from their positions at a rate that is absolutely unprecedented in our history.

Barack Obama is firing a top military officer every "8.8 days" – mostly for political reasons – according to retired U.S. Navy Commander J.D. Gordon.

"While the president circles the wagons when it comes to his ideological allies, he is quick to throw a couple hundred top military officers under the bus," says Gordon. "Mr. Obama and his team have no problems marginalizing the U.S. armed forces."

With a record number of top brass – 197, including AT LEAST A DOZEN GENERALS – already FIRED for not falling submissively in lockstep with the Obama regime and its various politically-mandated views, including a reported "litmus test" of expressed willingness to fire on American citizens, we must pound Congress to investigate the purge of our men and women in uniform.

And let's not forget, Barack Obama has already had the number of combat-ready brigades reduced to TWO… even as the Middle East is being OVERRUN by Islamic State terrorists, he commits our forces to remain in Afghanistan under terrible rules of engagement and in great policy uncertainty, abandons our allies like Israel AND cuts deals giving Iran all the funding and leeway it needs to become a nuclear power more firmly allied with the likes of Russia and China.

With only two combat-ready brigades and many of our troops deprived of resources and proper training, Army Chief of Staff General Ray Odierno bluntly calls the U.S. Army "dysfunctional."

"To have the Chief of Staff of the Army confess to the world that our Army has not trained for six months is highly disturbing," says former Rep. Allen West. "[It] should make us all sleep less soundly at night."

Breitbart.com reports at least 197 officers have been relieved of duty for a variety of reasons, or for no stated reason at all. Most of them were the rank of colonel or above. Some who have not been fired have simply been "reassigned," again for no specific reason.

Among the most glaring examples of officers "let go":

• Gen. Carter Ham was relieved as head of U.S. Africa Command after he disagreed with orders not to "stand down" in response to the Sept. 11, 2012, attack on American personnel in Benghazi, Libya. If you'll recall, Ham was then unavailable to Congress for Benghazi testimony due to retirement BEFORE he was in fact retired!

• Rear Adm. Charles Gaouette, commander of Carrier Strike Group Three, was relieved of duty in October 2012 for allegedly using profanity and making "racially insensitive comments" despite being cleared of these charges later.

It also later came out that Gaouette disobeyed orders when he sent his group to assist and provide intelligence for forces ordered into action by Gen. Ham, according to IBD. Unfortunately for his career vis a vis Obama, he admitted to Congress that he could have sent planes to Benghazi.

• Maj. Gen. Ralph Baker, commander of the Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa, was officially fired for "alcohol use and sexual misconduct" charges though Defense officials told CNN the reason was "loss of confidence." Baker was, according to sources, also involved in some aspect of Benghazi force disposition and chain of command.

• Marine Corps Maj. Gen. Charles Gurganus was terminated for questioning the "winning hearts and minds" policies that led to the "green on blue" murders of U.S. officers by Afghan recruits, reports FrontPage magazine.

• Maj. Gen. Peter Fuller was relieved of his command in Afghanistan after he told a media source that Afghan President Hamid Karzai and other government officials were "isolated from reality," in direct contrast to Obama's "everything is fine" re-election narrative.

Notably, on the last day of November 2011, the Obama administration fired – very possibly illegally – 157 Air Force majors, citing budget shortfalls.

"I think they're using the opportunity of the shrinkage of the military to get rid of people that don't agree with them or not toe the party line," a senior retired general told The Blaze.

Front Page concluded: "Obama has made clear that he will aggressively pursue anyone who defies his agenda. Now it seems that chilling message has been sent to the military as well."
